Pegasus Parade

(See anything special hiding in this photo...  they're everywhere! haha!)

We made our way to downtown Louisville to see the annual Pegasus Parade which is the big event prior to the Derby.  They parade was good, lots of balloons and bands, but boy was it hot that day.  We ended up sneaking out early to get some shade and dinner.  The kids had a great time.  We met an older couple who were visiting from Virginia.  The Derby was on their "bucket list".  We pointed them in the direction of some good restaurants for dinner and then headed to The Old Spaghetti Factory for our dinner.  That's one of our favorite restaurants.  We went to the one in Minneapolis a lot.  Our table was on the streetcar in the middle of the restaurant.  In typical Annabelle and Daddy fashion, Dave left the restaurant wearing his beverage.  Not sure how she does it, but she manages to spill Dave's drink on him quite frequently.
There was so much to see downtown.  People watching, planes overhead and even a parade!
Look - Chica made an appearance.  (For those who don't know Chica - turn on the Sprout Channel).
Lots of planes overhead.  Every few minutes and boy were they loud.
There's the famous Pegasus!  Annabelle loves horses lately so she was all "Oooos" and "Ahhhhs" while this one passed us.
