Long Time.... No Posts

We were in Green Bay a couple weekends ago. Jose` gave Koko a new bed. Andrew tried to claim it for himself. He's a bit too big for it.
He finds it very entertaining to watch Koko sleep in it. She's so cute all curled up in there.
Wouldn't you agree?
This sums up our weekend in Green Bay....... exhausting!
We spent the 4th of July at home in Chaska. We grilled out, had a bonfire with the neighbors, had a picnic lunch at the lake, went swimming at the beach, ran/walked a 5k and went shopping for a fish tank. Oh and of course watched the fireworks. Andrew loved the fireworks. However he did not call them fireworks. He calls them "stars". That's his new word.
Daddy has asked for a fish tank for his birthday, so we spent the weekend trying to find the perfect tank. We'll post pictures of the progress.
Andrew has the cutest new behavior. Any time he bumps into something and gets a boo-boo, he comes over and makes Mommy or Daddy kiss it to make it better. And magically, it is. He's runs off perfectly fine. So cute!

Enjoy the week!

What a "Water"ful Weekend!

We spent this past weekend at the Timmerman's house. We went out on their boat on Saturday afternoon. Andrew loved every minute of it. He was so comfortable on the boat, as you can see below. Uncle Jeff showed him where the horn was. The other boaters did not appreciate Andrew's interest in the horn.
On Friday we went to Underwater World at the Mall of America. While Andrew enjoyed the fishies, the best part of the trip was the moving walkway. Silly boy!
Here he is checking out a crab. He even got to pet it. Hummm.... Crab.... Pet.... I wonder if that crab's name is Mocha! Coincidence? I think not.
Andrew and Daddy at Underwater World.
The octopus was very interesting.
This was one of Andrew's favorite fish tanks. It's a replica of the Finding Nemo tank. It even had the movie playing nearby.

Mommy & Andrew at Underwater World.
We walked through several tunnels. Andrew loved watching the turtles and the sharks swim right over our heads.

This was Andrew's favorite tank. Of course it was the simplest tank. I think we're going to have to set up a tank at our house. Andrew sure loves fishies and they keep him entertained for hours.

Great Week & Weekend

Andrew had a great week with Auntie Kattie visiting. Lots of play time and reading. We went to the Arboretum one night. The weather was perfect.
This picture is for Grandpa.
We had a very relaxing weekend. Mom and Dad snuck out to see a movie Saturday night, while Jolene, our neighbor girl, babysat Andrew. He had lots of fun and even went to bed on time (something Mom & Dad have a hard time accomplishing)!
Sorry - no long story tonight. Mom and Dad are watching a movie and Andrew is heading to bed soon.
Have a great week!!

Busy Busy

I am long overdue for a new post (or so I've been told). Since our last post we've been busy.

We got a new freezer which means.... time to build a fort! The kitties loved it as much as Andrew did. We're still waiting for the "grace period" to be over so we can put windows in it.

Auntie Katie and Harvey came for a visit on Memorial Day weekend. We went to the Minnesota Zoo. It was a beautiful day. We saw a tiger, sleeping bears and lots of fish. Andrew loved the Aquariums. We are already planning a trip to Underwater World.

Here was a trip to the mall. Lots of fun on the 30 second ride that cost 50 cents!

Andrew, Mom and Dad ran/walked the Wayzata 5k one Saturday morning. It was lots of fun, or at least that's what Dad kept trying to convince Mom of.

Mother's Day - Mommy got breakfast in bed, followed by a relaxing day. Andrew made her a garden stone with his hand prints in it. Sooo Cute!!

Date Night - Mommy and Daddy had a date night and went to see Phantom of the Opera. A little night on the town and a chance to act like adults. Andrew's good friends Jacob and Duncan came over and had Jake's parents (Adam & Melissa) babysit.

Auntie Kattie is in town this whole week. We have Daddy's baseball game on Wednesday night and Thursday we are planning to go to the Arboredum. I'm sure Mom will take tons of pictures, so we'll post some more next weekend.

Friends

Andrew had some friends visit him over the past couple weeks. This past week Melena came for a visit. Melena lives 2 houses down from us and she's 2 months younger than Andrew. Having another child the same age as Andrew at our house was, well.... interesting. Andrew needs to work on sharing. This is Melena. Adoreable!
Here is Andrew showing Melena his Koko kitty.
And here is Melena taking Andrew's Koko kitty. Needless to say, Andrew has some sharing "issues".
We also had Jacob Delveaux come visit us last weekend. Andrew didn't seem to mind Jacob, but that's probably because Jake is almost a year younger than Andrew. Jake doesn't have much of an interest in Andrew's toys.....yet.
